Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs,” “Agreement,” or “Terms”) carefully before using the deliberatecareers.com website (the “Site”), submitting comments, or purchasing any products or services (“Products” or “Services”) from Deliberate Careers, LLC (“Deliberate Careers,” “the Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site or purchasing Products, you (“User” or “Customer”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of the Site and Services

The Site provides:

  • Information about Deliberate Careers’ services, blog posts, and downloadable content
  • The ability to purchase Products including e-books, courses, and merchandise
  • Newsletters, promotional offers, and related Services

Use of this Site does not create a professional client relationship; such a relationship only exists through a separate written agreement.

11. Payments, Taxes, and Refunds

Refunds/Returns: Digital Products (e.g., e-courses, downloadable content) are non-refundable unless defective. Physical merchandise may be returned within 14 days of delivery in original condition for a refund or exchange.

13. Warranties and Disclaimers

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for Products on the Site.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Company and its representatives against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Site, Products, Services, or violation of these T&Cs.

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Texas, USA.

Disputes must first be submitted via email to [email protected].

If unresolved, disputes will go to mediation in Austin, Travis County, Texas. If still unresolved, matters will be handled by the district court of Travis County.

By using the Site, you waive the right to a jury trial or class action lawsuit.

17. Typographical Errors

If a Product is listed incorrectly due to a typographical error, we may cancel the order and issue a full refund.

18. Changes to Terms

We may update these T&Cs at any time. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of any changes.

19. Miscellaneous

If any part of these T&Cs is deemed unenforceable, the remaining sections remain in effect.

Titles and headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.

We may comply with lawful subpoenas or court orders without prior notice.
